Pinnacle of Maserati's history and efforts
For the last thirty-odd years there's been a clear distinction between supercars meant for highway use and racecars, seen only on the track. It wasn't always so; prior to the 1970's the Ferraris, Porsches
and Maseratis seen competing at Spa or Le Mans could be found on the
road as well. In fact, many were driven by the competitors to and
from the track. So it's only fitting that one of the original
manufactures of such dual-purpose cars is the first to bring one
back, Maserati and its MC12. Unlike previous supercars fettled for
the track or racecars de-tuned for the boulevard, there is no
substantial difference between the MC12 Corsa that won Spa and the
MC12 Stradale driven to the spa.
RIAM's MC12 is the centerpiece of its 28 example Maserati Collection, one of the most complete assemblages of production Maseratis in North America.
